Is there any factor that determines the gender ratio for ANY species????

As far as I know, no.
Exclusive themes made during fests may be given additives that guarantee the pet will be male/female. And there's an item from the diamond shop that can switch the sex of an existing pet (with some restrictions, I think).
But other than that, there's no real way to influence it. It's just RNG.

Well then i just might be getting a greater amount of RNGs for females, cause I got 7/9 recently hatched ferrikkis as girls.

it's a 50/50 by egg, not for the whole group of eggs, the odds for a gender dont stack. It happen sometime that i hatch a group who is almost only male or almost compleatly female, it's actualy preaty rare to ge a perfect 50/50 split in a generation. Besside, when you are doing projects you actualy want a higher amount of female so it's probably a good thing. ^-^
