I'm wondering if themed Trait distribution philters are able to re shuffle traits of a themed pet with a specific trait set like a cute witch zolnixi or a Cupid's angelic puffadore

yes, but the shuffled genes can only be from the res set.

yes it will go away. for non-res themes they will never have res genes unless they get a rtd, the regular theme disrupters can only give normal genes. however you can use another rtd if you want, after disrupting

When I saw your first post, I had hoped that I could just 'shuffle' the gene around until Igot the one I wanted, but oh well.

sorry for being confusing lol. res themes can only have res genes, and normal themes can only have normal genes naturally.
if that was a spectral ny it would shuffle around but not for other themes

Thanks again, Yeah, that was my confusion, since you can apply restritcted traits to non-restricted themes, I got slightly confused, but it is all clear now.

to quote from the restricted/majestic guide:
"- Using a Trait Disruptor (Themed) on a Majestic Theme will shuffle their Restricted traits among the traits of their set,

- Using a Trait Disruptor (Themed) on a non-Majestic Theme that has had a Restricted Disruptor used on it will remove the Restricted trait for a regular one. This can be used to make multiple attempts to get a particular Restricted Trait from a set."
