I'm working on an avatar design and have been spending a ton of gold. Anyone know any easy ways (besides missions) to earn gold?

Missions are, by far, the best way to get gold year round. I would also recommend selling items received during fests.

I recently found a great way to get money!
Nurture Sylesti. A lot. Get 1250 scales per day at minimum. You get rewards from doing this, big rewards. I got a Kelpari Essence from it! Anyway, during festivals, you find tokens sometimes. When you collect enough, sell them for juuuust cheaper than the cheapest price of the same amount you are selling. Then give a link in a forum and you will hopefully get many customers! Also, scales = eggs and expensive Philters. Sell them!
