I've seen them both referenced, and seen guides, but I haven't actually... seen number explanations. What is the difference between "max" and "super", what are the numbers involved, and is there a cap for how high you can get any particular stat on hatchlings?

Ill try to explain this the best I can, hopefully someone else comes along and helps too, because Im still coming off a hiatus and missed some of the super stat stuff lol.
A Max stat pet is a pet that has 2,000 health, and 100 for all of their base stats (agility, strength, etc.) You can either buy one from another player or breed them. You can boost your pets stats when you hatch them. You can use a philter of choice, help hatch egg (health boost), or let it hatch on its own (strength boost). After they are hatched, 5 nutures will give one point to the lowest stat. So the cap here is 100 points.
As far as I know, a Super Stat is when you breed a Max stat pet, and a pet from the LG. Pets from the lost Grove have 'boosted' stats.

For example, on this luff, the strength is (100+65). So the base is 100, but by breeding it with pets that have a bonus, you get an extra 65 points. I'm not quite sure if or what the cap is on supers, but the numbers range all over the place.
So max stats = 100+0
Super stats = 100+__
I'm not the best person to explain this, but hope this helps ^^

That's perfect, thank you! I have a breeding project and I was wondering how high I could get them and this answered that completely, and tells me they're going to be "max" and not "super".
