I'm looking for other lunar fairy companions as i right now have Serene and I'm planning to get Angel a bit later, but I really love Aurora's colors. Is there another way to get Aurora rather than paying 1.2k diamonds? Because im not really sure I can get that much gold in time to exchange for diamonds.

There are only 2 other ways. The easiest is to buy from another player. Your only other option is to wait until next year's winter fest and try to find it from a retired chest. Your chance of that is probably pretty low.
