Okay. So here's the situation. I'm stuck at Enigmatic Grotto, my pets are being destroyed by the zombies. Is there any way to go back to just exploring the area, or am I going to have to beat them before I do anything else? I have the same question for the Nightfall Bandit Dungeon.
Or... does anyone have any tips for beating them? I've been assigning all the level up and proficiency points, but I feel like I'm missing something. My three party pets are all lv. 34 and they're being completely decimated. I really feel like I'm doing something wrong.
And sorry for making so many topics here. I feel so whiny :p

You might want to look at the quality of your armor, it should all be lvl. 30 (or the highest level your pet is). You can always look on the trade broker for some armor if you don't feel like battling for it, but this will take you more money, but less time.
Also, you might want to try buying potions, if you don't already. You can only use a few of them during battle, so check if they allow you to use them during battle before you buy them. Buying potions does drain your gold, though.

Whoops! Didn't realize someone had replied :P
And I have been buying potions, but they don't help much. Most of the time I use them, only to have that same amount of health (or even more) knocked off in the same round. I'll look into the armor, though. They all have armor at lv. 20 or 25 but I'll see what I can find. Thanks!

I hope you don't mind, but I took a look at your pets.
It seems as though you are spending their level up points evenly. You're also giving your pets gear that does not match up to their highest stats...
Try giving your party members each a "Job", if you will. Have one pet be dedicated to health, defense and keeping the team alive, one pets dedicated to strength and heavy hitting, and one pet dedicated to magic and speed.
Your health pet would be your "Tank". Your tank will have most of their level ups and proficiency points spent on Health, with a little bit in Agility and a very little bit in either Intelligence OR Strength; depending on which ever they have more of to begin with. Your Tank will also be your first party pet, the pet that is first in the group and shows up in the center of the battle screen, this pet will absorb most damage and will ultimately keep you party alive longer.
Your strength pet will be your Fighter. You fighter will have most of their level ups in strength, a little in dexterity, and a very little bit in health. Most of their proficiency points will also be in strength with, at least, one point in health, one in dexterity and one invested into making his attack stronger. Try to alternate which stat you spend proficiencies on. You want health to have up to 5 points, by time you reach level 60. This pet will probably do the most damage and get the most critical hits.
Your intelligence pet would be your Mage. Your mage will have most points spent on intelligence with a little bit in agility and a little bit in health. Your proficiencies will be spent similarly as with your strength. This pet also does a lot of damage and is good at dodging, so they won't get hit with attacks as often.
You CAN have two Fighters or two Mages, if you want . You don't have to have one and the other.
The gear that is on your pets should ALWAYS match their fighting type(magical/physical) and level(within 5 levels). The more rare the gear, the more powerful it is. You can go here to read more about gear.

I've sent some msc. Level 25 items for your team. You likely want to stop taking out those level 18s though. Take some of your other level 25+ pets instead of the two 18s. ^^ You can level the two 18s up in smaller areas if that is what you are trying to do, but taking them to the Grotto is likely going to hurt them a lot.

Oh, thanks so much for the items! And the advice!
And don't worry, I wasn't taking them to the dangerous areas. I was exploring really low-leveled areas to get some more gold :3 I'm mainly leveling those two up with missions right now.
And I don't know why I never thought of giving them each jobs! That makes so much sense, I do it in other games :p I'll definitely try that!!
