Hello! Maybe I'm just stupid and overlooked it, but I'm really struggling on whether or not I even want to keep going with this game.

Is the only way to get genes/gene-ing points by purchasing them? I know that you can breed, but I would really like to make my starter look awesome... and maybe redo the other sylestia that I got...

This is really more of a breeding game than a collect just a few and edit them sort of game. You dont add genes to your pet. You breed pets to have the genes you want. Many players will start breeding projects. Projects that are multiple generations long in order to get that single perfect pet. If thats not the type of game you want, try something like Neopets? They have paintbrushes there that can make any pet look however you want.

The only way to alter a Starter is changing its colours with dyes

On Tamed pets, there's the option of using Mutators to add a trait (max 1 mutator per pet- lesser are random in both what trait they give, and if said trait is vis or carry, greater give a vis of your choice), and restricted trait disruptors, which remove one of the current visible traits the pet had in exchange for one of the traits associated with the used disruptor. (they cannot be used on starters or pets made via the genearator)


theres also regeneratable pets, but they can get fairly pricy since they're a limited resource (guide to regenerartion here)

Thank you guys so much! I wasn't sure exactly what the entire premises were, as I'm also a part of Flight Rising. I really like the story and will hang around for that, I suppose that I'll collect interesting pets that can buy. Thank you! XD
