Alright, what happened to this layering.

The back is supposed to be at the very back, hence the name. For some reason, it's not. This is a custom avatar item, the base template I'm assuming is from the Ice Dragon, which seems to have the same issue:
This also happens with other backs, such as Majestic Ninetails:
Elemental Ooze:
and Dragon Phantoms, where it completely covers the wings:
I also tried with other wings. This is an example with Minstrel's Harp Wings (Rainbow):
PLEASE Krin, Fai, FIX THIS! It's really annoying.

The back is not supposed to be at the very back, that's for the background. The back is supposed to be the literal back of the avatar-person, just like the head. All of these are back items, not background items. Admittedly a lot of these would be better as backgrounds (like that phoenix I love so much, it clashes with my harp wings :P), but think about the capes and swords (and some of the tails), and such, which are also back items. Now, those would look really strange behind the wings.

One of the issues I could see with making some of these items background items and not back is that it would prevent players from using actual background items on their avatar. As someone whose favorite equippable item on ANY site are backgrounds, I would be very sad if I had a gorgeous back item that was moved to background and I could no longer use my background with it.
Honestly, I don't really know what could be done to fix it, except perhaps create another category where items that shouldn't go between wings and the avatar are put, but that could create another problem of the wings obscuring some of the items put there.

the only way i see that woudn't involve putting them in the background would be to make the wings go first and even then there would be issues with the capes and sutch.
