Is it possible to edit or delete a post or thread I made? Often the sales threads are temporary. When the trade is made, the thread is not necessary any more. In Flight Rising I can write DONE on the title of the thread or even delete the thread entirely or delete my post to some thread. Can I do that in Sylestia?

Deleting, no, but editing- can't edit titles (unless you ask Krin to do it) but you can edit posts you've made by clicking the pencil icon in the bottom right of the post (next to the 'quote post' button)

Thanks!
It would be very good if the game makers would add the possibilities of deleting your post/thread and also changing the title of your thread (to write DONE).

Gamemaker. Its just Krin making the site. Hes been working on updating the code on older parts of the site so hopefully well get title changes when he gets to updating the forums. The next thing to be updated is nurturing. Hes already released a few teaser pictures in chat.

I also want to add a few problems with letting players delete threads:
A player can post an add (like selling pets for Diamonds) and they get the diamonds then delete their thread and never sell the pet to the other player. And they can pull the " There is no proof" card and essentially scam others.
I dont see it happening here yet, but only because we are a small community. Krin knows he can trust us mostly and he usually leaves disputes up to players to solve but he can step in if he needs to. Bust as we grow he can not watch everything as closely as he used to and problems will appear as new and shady players join.
This was the reason I left FR. I will say editing titles would be nice if you are closing a thread. But I do not support deleting posts or threads.

ooh, Could you potentially link me the teaser pictures? I haven't been in chat much so missed them. (you can PM me if you feel it is better to do so.)

No need. It's not like it's a secret.
He's working on that expedited nurturing feature. If I recall correctly, you pay a fee to have your pet show up at the top when people are looking to nurture.

Thanks, I didn't think it was a secret, just didn't know if you wanted to post it here.
That sounds very interesting, especially the filtering the pets thing. I am hoping it isn't just the filters we have now, but expanded ones.

I understand what you mean. It is sad that there are people who cheat if the game allows it. But that is why the trade in FR is such that both have to agree before the trade takes place. One person initiates the trade, the other agrees, and the initiator agrees and finalizes the trade. Maybe it has not always been like that?
Oh, I did not know this game is made by one person only. I must say it is a great achievement. This is already an enjoyable game.
I guess being able to edit the title of the thread would be enough. Writing there DONE or OLD would spare people the time of reading yesterday's news.
