This pet I bred and came out like this:

Gene One: (GG) Dolphin
Gene Two: (NC) Rose Markings
Gene Three: (NN) None
Mutation One: (NN) None
Mutation Two: (HI) Cyberpunk Wings
Mutation Three: (II) Astral Wanderer's Crown

I looked and one of my DOTD Ryori had it carried.


How did it come out visible if the father didn't even carry it and how did that happen? Astral Wanderer stuff on a DOTD? Me be very confusion.

The father is untested so you can't see whether or not he carries anything. Clearly, though, he does carry at least Astral Wanderer's Crown.

Edit: Looking further it looks as if your pet's father got it from HIS father.

Most likely the original parent (I traced it back to a tagged with the crown) had had an astral's wanderer themed disruptor used on it.

There isn't a notification for it (I assume since you can use more than one), and since as far as I know, you can't get restricted traits on a non-restricted theme without the disruptor, that had to be what happened.

Looking at it, the Father has an untested Crown, because HIS mother is your pet's mother, and tracing that line back makes me feel like I have been spinning in circles (I traced the father's crown back to the same pet that gave the mother her crown...)

I thought Disruptors had a notification. I have seen them on other pets.

I thought they did as well, however, it is MUTATORS that have notifications ,because they can only be used once per pet. You can use multiple themed disruptors, even restricted ones, on the same pet, so I dont' think they get notifications.

As I said, I have a Vene I used a spectral restricted disruptor on, and she doesn't have a notification I used it on her, but she has spectral armor, but isn't a Spectral Ny'vene, so I gather the disruptors don't have notifications.

Yeah it is, and I slightly misspoke, it is your pet's father's grandmother who is also your pet's mother. (Tuhinga) I skipped a generation in there.

This game is so crazy when it comes to breeding.

Honestly? Any game that allows inbreeding like that will be crazy. I know players have complained about things like that on Flight Rising as well (not complain as in it being allowed, but in how it can make it difficult to determine how far apart two dragons are, so they know how many generations one dragon has to be bred out to be eligible to breed with the other dragon.)

but, basically, as far as I can tell, I didn't do an extensive family tree, your pet got its crown from the pet I posted, because that lineage is in both sides of your pets family tree.

Yeah. Well I sent a message to the owner of his dad (whom has been inactive for 20 days) so maybe they'll respond.
