What do nurture boosts do?

By moving the chosen pet to the front of the line in a nurturing session, they just further speed up what nurturing already does- improve a pets stats & accelerate its maturation. Ill use one of my own pets as an example. Due to a nurture boost, this guy became an adolescent when he was only four days old:
Normally, that doesnt happen until a pet is seven or more days old.
These boosts are very helpful if, like in the case of my pet above, youre in a hurry to see what theyll look like, or if youre working on a project (e.g. a pet design you came up with that you really want to create, a max stats project, etc.).
