Okay, I just got my third slot and I'm stuck.

1: What are some possible line-ups for me

2: What pets would be the most useful on my party?

Thanks!

The two I most prefer are these:

Party 1
Shadow Tank/Fire Cannon/Light Healer (The links are clickable, so you can see how I distributed their proficiency points and what equipment I gave them.)
Phaeddon: Level 70 Shadow Tank

Acadian: Level 70 Fire Cannon

Lynaea: Level 70 Light Healer

Party 2
Shadow Tank/Air Cannon/Light Healer
Phaeddon

Ilira: Level 70 Air Cannon (Clickable link.)

Lynaea

While these are my preferences, you dont have to follow them exactly. This guide has other battle party examples as well, along with lots of other good information about this kind of stuff: https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=45988&page=1#8

In terms of your second question, do you mean generally, or the pets you currently have?

Okay. *Nods* I cant help you in a general way in terms of species, categories (i.e Regular/Common as opposed to Fabled), and the like, since Ive never really delved into that much detail about those things, but once I take a look at your pets, Ill see if I can help you there.

Alright, I probably shouldn't be doing this! I'm not the battle guru, but I think I can help!

Charlotte I will assume is your tank as her prof is in health, even though light has a better use as a second slot. While her stats are decent, that cannot make up for the fact that she has no gear. Once you get gear (I recommend Evoker or Illusionist, as those boost magical damage, and Light is an intelligence-based element) you might want to put her level 30 prof point into intelligence. Try to find rare (blue) or better gear.

Hazel I suppose is meant to be a damage-cannon, though she's a bit crippled right now. Physical Damage: 51 and Magical Damage: 19. Fire is a magic-based (intelligence) which means that she is doing only fractional damage. You will want to reassign her proficiency point to intelligence, and change her gear. Only one (the bracelet) is boosting her intelligence at all. And try to find rare or better Illusionist (or maybe Arcanist, but not more than one or two) gear. (Illusionist boosts Intelligence, for the damage, and Dexterity, to improve her chances of attacks actually hitting and critical hits.) Now, without that one health prof, she'll be a bit vulnerable, but this sorts out later and I'll say why.

Remember, first party slot takes the most damage, second the second most, and third hardly any.

I recommend you get a shadow tank (also intelligence-based), proficiency in health. You'll want to find Evoker gear, as that boosts agility (so they can dodge, attacks that don't hit don't hurt) and intelligence. Put that in your first slot. Shadow's ability to self-heal through the Siphon debuff added to Light's assist with healing from Beam makes for a solid tank, as they will take about 60-75% of the hits. Light is decent enough at keeping up its own health, which is why it is in second and can use either equipment type and takes 25-15% of the hits. Now Fire goes in the most protected slot, as it generally has to focus on damage rather than tanking. It will take 10-15% of the hits, and between Mend and the healing from Beam, it should be able to stay alive. The level 30 abilities greatly help.

As for the actual pet, Astrid and Hazelwood have decent health and intelligence, though Hazel is a bit better in the Agility department.

Good luck, and sorry for the wall of text!
