I see uncommon, rare, and common a lot, but I've only seen a few epics and only one yellow starred (I don't remember its name). How rare are they, percentage-wise? As in, I know the percentages for the first 3 are high, like 50%, 25%, or something, but what about the rarer ones?

To my knowledge that's not something anyone has calculated. Krin very specifically doesn't give us the exact numbers for these things. The only way we have of figuring out the probability is to keep track of tens thousands of battles ourselves.
Orange starred are legendary, by the way, and red starred are mythical. Suffice to say mythicals are reeeeeeaaaaaaally rare.

Next time you do, you might want to mention it in one of the chats. Some people are willing to provide the trap for it if you give it to them after catching. It's such a shame to not catch a mythical pet.
