I'm at the Grotto or whatever it's called. I think my Sylestias are a bit too high to get XP but every place I go doesn't give me XP. Is this just a Grotto thing or no? All of my Sylestias are level 41. Help??

If I understand how ex works properly then once your sylestis hit a certain level the lower level enemies will give you only a certain lower amount of experiance. The difference between your sylestis level and the level of your enemies will determine how much experiance you get. If your sylestis level is ten or more then your enemies it will only be one experiance. Enemies at the Enigatic Grotto are less then level thrity thus your sylestis will only earn one point per enemy per battle. It is not just an Enigatic Grotto thing.

The Grotto? You're a bit high level for the Enigmatic Grotto, you won't gain any experience there. If the Enigmatic Grotto is as far as you've gotten then you'll need to continue on with the storyline in order to get to an area that will give you experience.

Which area is the highest place you've unlocked?

YOu should be in third region I think, Sweet Blossom Orchard I think for your level. If I remember right. Or the last area in Second Region.

Anyways, there's a max level in each area. Once your pets hit that level, XP slowly decreases until about 5 levels highr then the enemies you get 1 xp per. (I think it was 5 anyways. I'll have to double check) but if you can one-hit-kill an enemy with your party, you shouldn't be grinding that area for anything but loot chests probably
