The Easter Egg Hunt is back! Hidden throughout all of Sylestia are 26 Eggs. Visit your Easter Egg Hunt to receive the first clue on where to find your first Egg. Then seek it out and once you find it, return to your log to claim its prize and unlock the next clue. Continue until you find all 26 Hidden Easter Eggs!
The Easter Egg Hunt is available to all players. However, players must have fully unlocked a region before being able to unlock any clues for that region. Your log page will tell you what you need to unlock in order to receive more clues. If you have already unlocked The Forgotten Caverns inside the Lost Grove, then you will already be able to obtain all 26 clues.
Please note, clues are random for every player. So not everyone will have the same log.
Prizes increase progressively with the more Eggs that you find. Find all 26 to receive an exclusive Easter Event Themed Pet, the Title: The Eggstraordinaire, and an entry into a drawing for one of two very special, exclusive pets! (More on this later)
Please be considerate to others when completing your Egg Hunt. Please do not publicly reveal locations of the Hidden Easter Eggs that you find. If someone wants to ask you privately for tips, that is fine. But please refrain from saying how you obtained certain Easter Eggs on the Forums (unless a thread is a dedicated *SPOILER* thread), in General Chat, or in Region Chat.
Just as excited as you may be when you find your Eggs, please allow others to share that excitement as they try and find their own. Thank you.
The Dawnbreakers and Frostkeepers
The Dawnbreakers and the Frostkeepers are two very special clans of Aeridini who have an everlasting struggle over the ending of winter and the coming of spring. Each year, as the weather begins to turn warmer, the Dawnbreakers come out in force in an attempt to hasten the coming of spring; whereas the Frostkeepers come out in force in an attempt to keep winter's icy grasp on the realm for as long as they can achieve. During this time, the two clans have fierce territorial clashes and struggles over the rightful claim of the season until the weather turns too warm for the Frostkeepers to bear.
Lady Alundriel of the Dawnbreakers
Lady Alundriel, leader of the Dawnbreakers clan, wants nothing but peace and prosperity for her fellow Aeridini. She believes that the sooner the spring season can begin, the more that all beings of Sylestia can flourish. For a world in permanent cold and darkness would not have enough life to sustain its inhabitants for long. She has sought peace and compromise with the Frostkeepers for generations, but to no avail.
Overlord Hammerfrost of the Frostkeepers
Overlord Hammerfrost, leader of the Frostkeepers clan, decries the responsibility befallen upon each and every Aeridini and has made it his life's goal to bring about winter's cruel and harsh environment, permanently, throughout all the lands. He will only reach true satisfaction when every Aeridini is released from their burden of birthright to pollinate the world's flora each and every year.
Together, the two clans struggle annually this time of year. The Dawnbreakers attempt to call upon Faerina and Vaeluna to bring about light and growth throughout the realms; while the Frostkeepers attempt to call upon Raith and Wruen to lash the land with cold, wet, and wind. It is long rumored that the unification of the two clans would bring about a very special and unique fruition of mythical proportions. Perhaps you can seek to bring about peace between the two clans through an eternal bond of love and nurture.
Dawnbreaker And Frostkeeper Aeridini
Throughout the duration of this year's Easter Event, players will have opportunity to collect Dawnbreaker and Frostkeeper Aeridini, two very special sets of Themed Pets. For each Pet of these Themed will come with a special, Certified Name. We have done some similar features in the past with special names, however, we have now created an official feature for it and Pets with a Certified Name will have their names in bold purple font on their profile page.
Players can obtain a 2-Visible Dawnbreaker Aeridini or Frostkeeper Aeridini, at random, of their own by finding all 26 Clues of the Easter Egg Hunt. Additionally, players can purchase [Easter Event Themed Pet (3-Visible)] and [Easter Event Themed Pet (2-Visible)] directly from the Diamond Shop.
Furthermore, for the duration of the event, players will have an opportunity to encounter wild Dawnbreaker Aeridini or Frostkeeper Aeridini while exploring the Lost Grove. These encounters will be considered Wild Themed Pet encounters and function much the same in regards to Wild Stats and all that. They do have a special encounter rate that is separate from the regular Themed Pet encounter rate, however, both are still being rolled. The special Aeridini is rolled first, but if it misses, it then rolls the regular Themed check. The special Aeridini will have a much higher base encounter rate than regular Themed Pets have.
This also means that [Perfumes of Themed Attraction (Lost Grove)]WILL work for boosting your chances of encountering the special Aeridini! Additionally, encountering a special Aeridini will reset the consecutive perfume boost as normal.
The special Aeridini will also be caught with a Certified Name.
There will be the possibility of encountering Rare, Epic, or Legendary special Aeridini. However, they will not have Carried Traits and will be Visible Traits only. This means that they will either be 1-Vis, 2-Vis, or 3-Vis; respectively.
The special Aeridini will NOT be obtainable from Nests.
The chance of encountering a special Aeridini will NOT be affected by a player's stage or location within The Lost Grove. The chance of encountering either a Dawnbreaker or a Frostkeeper will be equal.
Lastly, many Sylestiologists have theorized that the unification of these clans would bring about a very special and benevolent result. So who knows what to expect should one unite the clans through some sort of eternal bond!

Hey Krin, is there any chance that the genetic scanner and test kit that you get as prizes could be made tradeable or at least be sold for a bit of gold? I have the exceptional versions of both so i literally cant use them or do anything with them lol. No worries if not

When you figure out were the egg is how long do you half you go threw the place before you find it or dose it pop up as the first thing you find?

Krin if those aeri can be found in the grove does that mean they will have wild stats?
