Okay so I recently started playing. I made an account awhile ago, but never got around to playing I guess.
I just found this egg while exploring: http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=419581
I read that they need nurture clicks to get stronger. Is there a certain amount of clicks that help? Is my pet automatically added to the nurture list? I saw some threads for nurturing and posted on them. How do I help nurture other eggs?
Also when is the species of the egg determined?
Sorry for being so newbish. I'm poking around the FAQs right now trying to find things.
Thank you for your help in advance!

Hello Nightingale! Welcome to Sylestia. :)
Eggs are automatically added to the nurture list and usually hatch after 3 days. To nurture other eggs, you can go to your Hatchery and click the 'Help Nurture other Sylesties' button. It'll explain how nurturing works on that page. You can also use the Nurture threads that you mentioned. The eggs on them should be linked images. Click them to go to their profile. You then click the image on the profile and a box should pop up. It'll work the same way the 'Help Nurture other Sylesties' page should.
The species will be determined when it hatches. If you bred the pet, then the species should already be known and you should be able to see it on the profile page. If it was captured, you'll have to wait a few days.
You may want to check out the Guide to Guides. It's a list of all the User-Made Guides found on the forums. It's not fully updated, but a lot of good tips can still be found there. If you would like a Newbie Mentor, check out this thread.
Feel free to PM me if you have any unanswered questions!

No problem. ;)
EDIT: Just as a note, a lot of newbies have some trouble accumulating gold and keeping it. The Guide to Making Gold is very helpful in this matter. I suggest you read it. :) (not that your irresponsible with money xD)
