I finally got to the LG a few days ago and just learned about Gearing up at the Barracks.
Why is mine not available yet??

You have to build the barracks and each of the buildings inside the barracks before you can use those buildings.

Here we go. Lost Grove walk through. Should answer all things LG. You build the barracks in stage 1, then can start building the barracks buildings in stage 2 it looks like.

Heh..unfortunately you need an INSANE amount of materials to build anything that is useful immediately then once you manage to procure enough to build just ONE part then you have to battle and scour forever to replenish what you lost.
