Welcome to my Guide on using "Gen Chat" detailing how to make a public, private, and invitational room only! Furthermore, we're able to use the popout function to make it separate and bigger chat room.

First off, for those unaware, gen chat is actually "comet chat."

You can Open comet chat by either clicking "chatrooms" at the bottom-left corner of your browser or use this link:

"General Chat", commonly known as "gen chat", is a room currently available for community use. You can often find Krinadon in there even when he's not actually there.

Comet Chat allows us to create meeting rooms. These rooms can be for personal or public use.

Opening Comet/General Chat
Lets Head over to it now:
Click Chatroom.
From here, we can use the popout button to make a separate window for the chat. We can also leave the room and create one of our own.

Creating/Joining a New/Preexisting Room In Comet Chat
And, it'll bring you here:
Click "Leave Room" if you plan on finding more rooms to join- brings you to the "Lobby" . Due to a lack of popularity, we don't have many rooms- community members can however make them.
Click Create Chatroom if you want to make a new room.

Decide the type of room you'd like
Public room - users can join without permissions.
Password-protected room - users must have required password set by creators of room. Room creator must set a password
Invitation only room - users can only be invited. Anyone inside the room can invite people.
Once you've decided the type, you're ready to click create room and enjoy chatting with your peers.
