I figured that since I want to hug a ryo, others might want to as well.
I've decided to work on a longer-term project that will (hopefully) include patterns for each sylesti.
Ryoris will be first since I've already started that. But if you'd like to help choose who will be next, fill out this google form.

All patterns, once completed, will be free to use by anyone. Credit is appreciated, but not necessary. Each pattern will be uploaded to Ravelry, a free site for knitting and crochet patterns. From there you can download a PDF of the file or save to your library if you have an account.

I have re-checked the TOS but I did not see anything in particular talking about selling of Sylestia fan merchandise. I personally have no issues with you selling anything made using my patterns, but to be sure I will double check with Krin.

As a note, please do be patient. I am a teenager with chronic disabilities who is both doing school and working at the zoo. Some days I will be simply too exhausted to work on anything and others I may be in too much pain.

Pattern Testers
While I will be writing the pattern as I go, I would love some pattern testers.
They will follow the pattern I give and well, test it.
Testers help to make sure the pattern is easy to follow. They also can point out anything that doesn't line up - there have been many cases where I've changed a piece of the pattern in my head but not on paper.
Most amigurumi is made using single crochet, but for some I will be using different stitches to attempt to achieve the desired look. All stitches will be pretty basic, probably not going much above the skill level of a hdc.
If you're familiar with the basics of crochet and would like to test, please send me a PM including what species you'd like to test. That way I can send you the pattern once it has been drafted.

I'm honestly not sure how many would truly be interested in this, but hey! Gives me something to do and some others may like to make their own as well at some point :)

I absolutely love this idea! I was actually considering making some sylesti plushies myself, but ultimately decided that I didn't have the time. >.<

If you need testers, I'd be interested, but I'm not sure how quickly you'll get feedback since I'm rather busy irl right now. I also haven't crochetted in a while so it might be kinda bad at first.
I can test any species :) Would you like this in a pm or is posting here ok?
