Everyone is born with a soul shard. A soul shard is the physical form of a piece of your soul. They are like any other living being but are a piece of you. The shard will be any kind of animal that represents you, some shards match their person more than others. The shard of your soul is yours and you are theirs and together you make a whole. Around the age of five you gain the ability to fuse back together and over time you can perfect it. There are different types of shards though, there are Myths, Monsters, Mages, and Naturals.
In this world Naturals are the only ones allowed to be leaders. Myths and Mages work together to keep the peace between the different nations. Myths are trained as knights and once they undergo their training they are no longer a citizen of their kingdom and they lose their last name. Mages undergo training to control and perfect their magic and once finished are also no longer a citizen of their kingdom. Monsters are often very misunderstood, the reason is because some when they fuse with their soul shard they lose control of themselves and become animalistic. They all live on a separate island from everyone else but are free to do what they will, but they are kept under the watch of the Myths. They can only leave if a Myth is assigned to be with them at all times and this has lead to animosity between a handful of Monsters and Myths. There are some Monsters that are working with Myths to grant them more freedom and be seen in a better light.

This takes place in medieval time in a world where everyone has an animal that represents a piece of themselves called a soul shard. Soul shards are their own separate person while also being just like their person. When someone fuses with their soul shard they take on a couple of attributes of the creature.
Every kingdom is ruled by a Natural. The reason is because long ago there was a time when the kingdoms were ruled by a tyrannical Myth. It took many years to overthrow him and no Myth has ruled since. All Myths once they reach 15 years of age they are sent to a separate continent in the middle of all the others, to begin their training as a knight. When they complete their training they must cut ties with any other family and accept the knights as their new family. They no longer belong to any kingdom, and serve to protect all the kingdoms.
Monsters are like Myths but there's one difference when they fuse they become a humanoid mythical creature and often lose their minds for the time being. They are treated like evil creatures and are shunned and sent off to an island off the coast of the Myth's continent. There are Monsters that are advocating for the same rights that Naturals have.
Mages are people who have a magic creature soul shard but it is trapped in them and appears as a tattoo. Because their soul shard is still in them they have very powerful magic and must go to the continent of the Myths and train at the schools there.
This specific rp will start on the continent the Myths live on in the main fortress city, Nokstelle. Myths can have any normal job but they all have been trained to be a soldier but some more than others. The Mages are in charge of the inner workings of the fortress and help Myths with various enchantments. They are also the guardians of the many magical artifacts and tomes. The Monsters in the fortress are mostly all Emissaries from the island trying to achieve peace between the Monsters and Myths. The few Naturals in the fortress are royalty coming to meet with the Council of Magic(all the Mage and Myth leaders).

Natural: A soul shard that is any non-magical animal and has no magic abilities when fused
(Really just any normal animal)
Myth: A soul shard that is any magical or mythical creature and has magical abilities when fused
(Any magic animal that isn't humanoid or half human.
Mage: A soul shard that is permanently trapped as a tattoo and has very strong magical abilities
(Any magic animal)
Monster: A soul shard that is any creature but when fused they become a humanoid magical creature
(Any animal but has to be similar to the creature that they fuse to become. So a wolf for a werewolf, a fish for a mermaid, a horse for a centaur, and so on)

Other: Lian enjoys solitude and silence but cherishes the little time he spends with others. He is proud and loyal to who he decides to serve. he never lies for he is unable to and is great at keeping secrets. His mother left him when he was 9 ad his father left him when he was 14 the only thing he remembers them saying to him is "Shall you live, love will never find you" he still doesn't understand what they meant by it and is not bothered.
He also hates the superstitions that are out there about vampires, He just wants one friend that will understand him for who he is and not what he is.

(I went with a semi obcure speacie so there isn't alot of pictures of it in color, just ignore the ones in the back)
Other: When Orel was taken away form his family he silently refused to see the others Myth as his "new" familly, from then on he only relyed on himself, and Carnage to acomplish his missions. When he is forced to work in a team, he have the tendencie to butcher the names of is teammates or give them ridiculous nicknames instead, he play it off as him not caring but he seriously cannot remember names. He isn't one to smile alot so the moments where he does are usualy meaningfull. Despite all this, he does have a sens of humour and try to remain on somwhat friendly terms with those who tolerate him, part of him wish he could call them friends but his past taugh him that getting attached to others does not end well for him. Maby someone could prove him wrong.

Accepted, but next to monster put what kind of creature he is it has to be humanoid or half human preferably a vampire since you have him as a vampire emissary. And your missing something from the rules.

I would prefer a mythical creature only because this rp is based off a book that I was trying to write and I want to keep it as close to it as I can. But you have her as a mage so the soul shard is only as a tattoo so if you can't think of another it's fine.
