Let me just say this: the lost grove is a HUGE amount of grinding. HUUUUGE.

You basically just have to keep fighting those creatures that give you the items that are needed and just repeat over and over and over again.

Sometimes you will get the items you need, other times you won't.

When you have the items, return them to the person, and wait a few minutes (it doesn't always update immediately) to see how much more you need to go (percentage wise)

Also, as advice for the future, do not defeat the behemoth (something like Lost Grove Stage 4, 5 or 6) until you have built and upgraded the barracks as far as you can. Once you defeat the behemoth, the level of the enemies you face will go up (think about three levels) and it gets harder to defeat them.

So you want to basically grind the LG until you get the barracks built up as much as possible, and until you feel your pets are able to handle the jump. (I was able to easily defeat most things in the LG, then defeated the behemoth. While I can still defeat things, it takes more concentration to do so, and takes longer)

In the lost grove, it is just random chance.

Most often it seems to be non-sylestis that you see, but you will start seeing sylestis, though you might not necessarily want to catch them.

There are also themes exclusive to the lost grove that can show up, but they are generally much more dangerous than non-themed.

Also, there is a region chat for the lost grove that you can get help from if you need anything more specific. I am usually there (not there this week, due to Flight Rising having a festival I am grinding the coliseum for, but there are others who would help).

On the topic of catching sylestis, most pets that you can catch aren't worth anything, since most people do not really want non-themed pets. In the LG, there are restricted traits that can show up on sylestis, if you find a pet with one of those, especially a visible trait, they are potentially worth something and are good to catch.

In the barracks, once it is built (and you might need to build the barracks itself before sylestis start showing up. I am not sure) you can build a trader's post that you can buy traps, and I believe that you can buy traps from Ethernia as well. The trader's post, to me, is best because you can use stuff you find in the LG itself to buy traps, while Ethernia requires you to use gold.

In general, if you want to capture a pet, and sell it, it is best to ask first. If you want to capture a pet for yourself, go ahead, I do it all the time when I see a pretty pet I can't pass up. Just don't trap with the expectation to sell those pets. (it can happen, but not as a general rule of thumb)

Well it's been a long time since I've been at the stage in the lost grove that you are but this thread might help you a bit.
https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=57484
It is missing some stuff and only takes you up to stage 8 but it might help you get through the LG.

The first thing that would help you would be to switch your gear to LG gear. You can get some exotic stuff from killing the elites which would be the cheapest way to do it for the time being. If even better and you have some money you can buy some Vinethorn amour off the trade broker.

Gear is coded to elements so make sure you put the right type on your pets.
Pyromancer - fire and light
Tidal Lord - water
Warden - earth
Reader- shadow
Lightbringer-light but it's better to use pyromancer gear for light healers
Storm Caller- air

If you can't find any of the other items I would assume they came from the elites that you haven't killed yet. The guide I linked should say which enemies drop what.

The lost grove is as said above a lot of grind, be prepared to get killed by enemies and to sometimes lose against what your fighting. It's pretty common in the beginning but as you progress further it will *probably* get easier.

LG is so full of grinding- a useful piece of knowledge is that the top section of the LG (top row of screens+area the Druids are in) only have 1-enemy mobs, which is safer when starting out to get used to the enemies, especially when your team isn't up to lv65 yet.
(Once you beat Behemoth all enemies jump from 65 to 70, and the bosses lv73)

Aim to get your pets LG equips asap.
Doesn't matter if they're Exotic (rare lg equips, drop from regular enemies) or Vinethorn (Epic LG equips, drop from bosses), because even without being upgraded any at the blacksmith they beat out pretty much any non-LG equip (regular unupgraded Exotics fall a bit shy of lv70 legendary non-grove equips stat-wise despite being lv60 equips)

Reaver equips for a shadow tank
Pyromancer for a light healer
Storm Caller for an air attacker

I think the LG traps you have were... trying to remember, since it's been a while, it might have been an advent calendar prize/gift? Or possibly just a gift for reaching the lg?

You can buy more LG traps from Ethernia, until you get the trading post built, though they're pretty pricey

Barracks buildings:
Temple of Light- honestly it just kinda... sits there, being mostly useless? If you need to heal, why not just. Leave the grove and use non-lg potions?
Trading Post- sells LG potions and Traps (eventually has Ent Flasks, which help against the bosses in the Deep Caves section, but that's a while away for you), bought with either gold or broken bottles/traps that you get as enemy drops. Very handy
Training Grounds- grants bonuses when fighting enemies that you have activated. Very handy.
Tracker's Hut- supposedly increases the encounter rate of a species (supposedly), but not really worth getting until you have the Caves opened and can make use of the Rare Hunt and Epic Hunt tasks.
Blacksmith- quite useful, once you have the stuff you need to upgrade some vinethorns
Portal- haha, not having to walk all the way to the caves good (can't make it until you've beaten Behemoth anyhow, though, and couldn't use it before then anyway)

From good to eh to aim to build pre-behemoth in our own opinion:
> Trading Post and Training Ground best to get first I think
> Blacksmith
> Temple of Light
> Tracker Hut
