I have gotten an interest on max stats and have been wanting some of my own but they are very expensive (i spent almost 2.5 million on the ones in my party)

Max stats are very expensive to buy because they are very expensive and time consuming to make. Most max stat projects take 1-2 years to complete, and require the use of several generations' worth of prismatic philters (available from the diamond shop). Many max stat breeders will also use gender swapping philters, magical pies, mana philters, and nurture boosting, which can all be fairly costly, as well. If you require dyes to fix up the colours of the end result, that is also another cost.

To answer the question of *how* to do a stat project, though:
1. First, breed to get the project looking the way you want visually (most max projects that sell well later have carefully chosen colours and traits that look good together; most of them tend to be 4-6v). By breeding to the visual impact you want first, you minimize the number of 'failed' offspring that you will waste stat philters on later.

2. Once you have your final visual product, you need three or four unrelated pets (I'd suggest two unrelated pairs as it makes it easier to continually increase the stats generation over generation, rather than always breeding the better statted baby back to a lesser statted pet of the previous generation.

3. If you have two unrelated pairs, breed two babies from each of these pairs, hoping to make two new pairs between them. Use stat philters when hatching these pets (prismatic is best as it increases all stats in a generation, though you can use the other stat philters instead. It will just take longer as the other stat philters only increase one stat for that generation). If you get unlucky with genders, gender swapping philters are helpful.

3a. If you choose to use three unrelated pets, breed the first pair and philter their baby when it hatches, hoping for the opposite gender of the third original unrelated pet. Breed the new baby to that third original, then breed *this* baby to the opposite gender from the first pair and philter the new baby. Because offfspring stats are randomised as being anywhere between the two parents' stat numbers, this can take longer than the two pairs method, but you can also get lucky and maybe need fewer philters overall.

4. You can further increase a generation's stats by getting as many nurtures as you can during the hatchling stage. 8 correct nurtures increases the lowest stat by +1 for Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, or Agility; +10 for health, or +1 for mana (only increased after the other stats are maxed).

5. Keep breeding, philtering, and nurturing generation over generation until you hit max stats (for most projects with normal starting stats, the statting phase takes about a year. If you are lucky enough to start with pets with higher than normal stats, this could take less time. Magical pies also decrease the time it takes to go from adolescent to adult).

And that.... is a basic overview of max stat breeding, lol. If you have specific questions, I can attempt to go deeper into certain aspects ^.^

You're welcome.

Just a couple of other things I thought of after posting: you'll want the unlimited genetic test kit and unlimited infertility kit for max stat breeding (or access to someone else's).

Not sure how much project breeding you've done, but having your pets tested makes breeding for traits much easier (know exactly what you're working with) and testing eggs shows the stats before the pet hatches (which is important if you go with the three pet option for statting, as you can avoid wasting philters on sub-par stat eggs).

The infertility kit is important for selling offspring once you're done so that a) a purchaser can't piggyback off of your hard work and quickly recreate your project and undersell you, and b) the max stat market for that species isn't tanked by people being able to purchase fertile maxes and quickly sell a bunch of fertile maxes for low cost (when this happens, there is a very real danger of prices for the whole species going down and all max stat breeders of that species being undercut).

Also, just in case you weren't aware, true max stats are:

Strength: 100
Intelligence: 100
Dexterity: 100
Agility: 100
Health: 2,000
Mana: 200 (though you will see old max stat projects with less than 200 mana as being able to increase mana is a relatively new thing)
