Is there a way to change your "Active Pet"? If so, how would I go about that?

Really it all depends that pet you have in you first slot as you see here: http://blob:chrome-untrusted://media-app/8494d3be-d463-4b66-8151-e11ebac4743a my main pet is the one named "shawl" witch should show up like this: http://blob:chrome-untrusted://media-app/de1a7d76-20ad-4664-bed2-a7e557df1abb so it would all depend on your placement of your pets (hope i didn't confuse you :p)

your active pet is just whichever one is in slot 1 of your party, so typically it's always just going to be your Tank pet, since they're the one that goes in that slot. You change it just by swapping your party order to have a different pet in slot 1

In region 3, the Lost Grove, and festival zones, the active pet is the one it shows following you on the map (unless the slot 1 pet gets KOd at which point the slot 2 pet will be shown as the following pet until the slot 1 pet is revived) but yeah. Tanks go in slot 1 of the party so they can do their job, and as such they're the ones that get displayed as the 'active pet'

Maybe someday Krin will add something so that we can have any one of our party members as the Active pet without having them as the slot1 pet, but for the forseeable future, this is just how it is.

When you go to Explore -> Party, the pet in the first party slot is your active pet. If you change the pet in the first slot of your party, you will change your active pet. This will also change the pet in the 'tank' position on your battle team, though (aka the pet in the middle that usually takes the most damage in fights), so be aware of that when changing your active pet!
