The roleplay

What if the Clans had never had to leave the forest, but rather were able to remain there for many more seasons more? This is the basis for this roleplay, quite simply. You are a cat from one of the four clans, ThunderClan, WindClan, ShadowClan, and RiverClan, and a prophecy will be revealed to one cat from each Clan, and events will lead so something that could destroy the Clans as a whole, and only the four cats selected, working together, will be able to stop it.
(I know it's vague, but why should I give away the plot before it even begins?)

Rules, because you gotta hate em', but ya gotta have em'
1. Follow the Warrior Code. Of course, I know it will get broken, and if it isn't, well, where's the fun in that?

2. Hate the character, not the player. Just because a character is a bit nasty doesn't mean the player deserves backlash.

3. No godmodding, and no Mary/Gary Sues. Perfect characters are uninteresting, and godmodding is a great way to get people angry.

4. Punctuation and capitalization. This is less important than the others, since it is just a pet peeve of mine. But still, your fellow roleplayers will thank you for punctuation alone.

5. My word is final. Do not argue with me-it is a great way to get me to remove you from the roleplay.

6. Please do not severely wound or kill another player's character without PMing them and asking.

7. If you are using multiple characters, please put the character's name, then on the line below put what they do. Then the next character on the post, and so on. This prevents a lot of confusion.

8. Put the name of your favorite animal in the Warriors books in the Extra section of your form.

9. Please only fill out the form if you intend to hang around.

10. Most importantly, if you and another player's character get it on, please take it out of this forum until you and the other player have finished up. This is so the whole forum doesn't get deleted by the admins. I'll give you one warning to clean up the post. After that, I will report you.

11. You may have as many characters as you wish, so long as you can control them.

12. Have fun! These rules may seem like a lot, but this is to help this roleplay to go on for a good long while. And expect mayhem. Lots and lots of mayhem...

Shadowstar is an unusually small cat, barely the size of an apprentice, with black tabby fur and bright purple eyes. His claws are reinforced with dogs' teeth after the BloodClan fashion, and are unusually sharp.
Personality:
Shadowstar is fair and kind, but is not soft, and will put down any rebellion quickly and efficiently. He is extremely loyal to his Clan, and will face anyone who threatens his Clan, up to and including his mate, Terror.

Backstory:
Long before Shadow was born, his mother wandered into the wrong part of Twolegplace, and was seduced by none other than Scourge of BloodClan, which lead to her being pregnant. In time, she birthed a healthy litter of three kits, which were promptly thrown out by his mothers owners. One of those three was Shadow himself, the smallest of the three. But there had been BloodClan cats watching the house, and the three kits were whisked away to Scourge. He looked them over, and gave them to a healthy young she-cat named Bloodraven who was already with kit. Two moons later, that kit was born, and only that one. Bloodraven raised Shadow and his siblings as her own, and soon Shadow and his siblings began training. His sister, Sorrow, actually fell before his own claws, resulting in his catching Scourge's eye as the strongest of the three. His brother, Claw, then turned on him, but Shadow threw him off. He was part of the invasion of the Clan territories, and fought the Clans to further BloodClan. But, as his father killed Tigerstar, and then his father was brought low, he realized he'd been wrong. Something snapped, and he realized how wrong his life had been to that point. So he slipped away, and eventually showed up at the ShadowClan camp, begging for a chance to show he truly meant to help ShadowClan. Eventually, he was allowed to join them, but was told he had to go through Warrior training like an apprentice.
During his time as an apprentice, Shadowpaw learned the Clans fighting techniques easily, and was quick at learning the Warrior Code. He was given his Warrior name in early Leaf-bare, and his thin fur lead to one miserable night. He grew to be one of the most powerful warriors in ShadowClan, and his loyalty was unshaken. Until he met Terror.
Eventually, he was able to get Terror to join ShadowClan, and was able to stop hiding that she was his mate. She soon gave birth to their only kit, and birthing lead to Terror becoming infertile. Eventually, the deputy died, and Shadowclaw was chosen to become the next deputy
Shadowclaw served as deputy faithfully, and dealt with threats to the Clan swiftly. In time, the leader died, and Shadowclaw became Shadowstar.

Terror is a huge, pale orange cat with thick, fluffy fur, a bobbed tail, and scars crisscrossing her body. Her paws are huge and her legs unusually long, even given her stature, and she has lynx-like ear tufts and cheek fluffs. She wears a BloodClan collar, even though she is no longer a member of BloodClan, in order to protect her throat and spine from bites. Her claws, already long and hooked, are reinforced with dogs' teeth after the BloodClan style.
Personality:
Terror is aggressive and hotheaded, but not cruel, and will not prolong another cats suffering. However, if an injury would cripple another cat, friend or enemy, her immediate choice would be to kill them so they would not suffer indignity...most likely. Mid to late age will have her mellowed somewhat, and shes more likely to help get the cat to a medicine cat, so long as they aren't enemies. If they are enemies, she will ignore them.

Backstory:
Terror was born to Bloodraven of BloodClan, her father, a lynx named Jorie, had no choice but to leave soon after her birth. She was raised alongside Shadow and his siblings, Claw and Sorrow. Over time, she grew close to the tiny cat, she herself growing at an exponential rate, eventually standing far taller than any other cat, and never being beat, though she never fought Shadow. Soon after the invasion on the Clans, Terror realized her mother, as well as Scourge, had been killed, and rather than fight for the leadership of BloodClan, she left, pursuing the only cat she could trust: Shadow. She quickly learned he'd been taken in by ShadowClan And so she began watching him. Over many moons, she learned the Warrior Code by eavesdropping on Shadow as he trained apprentices.Then, eventually, she was caught, and fought off several Clan warriors, until Shadow arrived and neatly laid her out with a couple well-placed blows, then his teeth were deep in her throat, before he recognized her, and released her. She left, but Shadowclaw went searching for her, and they began talking. Over time they got close, and eventually Terror was pregnant. She chose to join ShadowClan to be with Shadowclaw, and eventually birthed one kit, a dark orange tabby tom. She and Shadowclaw lived happily for a time, and when Shadowclaw became deputy, Terror was excited for him. She was doubly proud when her son was chosen to be a medicine cat apprentice. Eventually, he became a full medicine cat, and shortly thereafter, Shadowclaw became Clan Leader, but did not choose Terror as his deputy.

Longfur is gentle, and is quite simply the antithesis of his mother. Where she is hard and unyielding, he is soft and flexible. But then, his position requires this.

He worked hard to impress his parents, and when his father was made Deputy, he worked doubly hard, by then a full medicine cat. Eventually the old medicine cat, his mentor, died, and Longfur chose to begin looking for an apprentice of his own, hoping he would still be around for a while yet, especially since his father has become Leader..

Born to a kittypet named Jia, then shortly after being thrown out with his siblings, Claw and his siblings were brought in by BloodClan, and raised by their father. In time, Shadow would emerge as the favorite after killing his sister, and this made Claw hate him. Eventually, with the death of Scourge and the defection of Shadow, Claw decided to take his fathers mantle, and fought his way to leadership. And he brought BloodClan back together, rebuilding the shattered force to be stronger than before. And one day, he will claim the forrest for BloodClan.

The Warrior Code:


1. Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from the other
Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan, as one day you may meet them in battle.

2. Do not hunt or trespass on another Clans territory.

3. Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors. Unless they have permission,
apprentices may not eat until they have hunted to feed the elders
.
4. Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for its life.

5. A kit must be at least six moons old to become an apprentice.

6. Newly appointed warriors will keep a silent vigil for one night after receiving their warrior name.

7. A cat cannot be made deputy without having mentored at least one apprentice.

8. The deputy will become Clan leader when the leader dies or retires.

9. After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before
moonhigh.

10. A gathering of all four Clans is held at the full moon during a truce that lasts for the night.
There shall be no fighting among Clans at this time.

11. Boundaries must be checked and marked daily. Challenge all trespassing cats.

12. No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from a different Clan.

13. The word of the Clan leader is the warrior code.

14. An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his battles, unless they are
outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self-defense.

15. A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.



The Medicine Cat Code:


1. A medicine cat cannot take on a mate.

2. A medicine cat cannot have kits.

3. A medicine cat will never let personal feelings in the way of his or her duties.

4. Medicine cats are outside Clan and Clan rivalry.

5. A medicine cat may be trained as a warrior before a medicine cat, but a medicine cat
cannot become a normal warrior.

6. Medicine cats are outside Clan rivalries, but they still must learn basic fighting moves.

7. A medicine cat must be able to interpret signs from StarClan.

8. Medicine cats cannot reject an injured cat.

9. A medicine cat must do everything in his or her power to save a sick or injured cat.

10. A medicine cat will give his or her life to save a cat.

Personality: Dewfur is strong, instinctual, and determined. She can come off a little morose, but opens up quite quickly. She's undyingly loyal. She's likely to see how every warrior fits in the puzzle and work with their unique qualities. She hates sitting back and being useless - or worse, lazy and uncaring while her clanmates fight. She would never make them do something she wouldn't do herself, and takes her vows very seriously.

Backstory: Dewfur has always wanted to live up to her father, who was killed when she was a kit, and believes a life in service to her clan is very honorable. When she was a kit, the nursery was attacked by foxes, killing her sister and knocking Dewkit out. Her father Hailthorn tracked the fox down, but went ahead of the patrol, and by the time they caught up to him, he had been killed. For the longest time, she tried to get away from the overbearing weight of her mother, Leaftail, who hardly let Dewfur leave her sight. Her mentor, Whitepool, looked after her often and helped ease Leaftail's worries. For a long time, the foxes stuck around, killing warriors. It wasn't until Nettlestar's deputy, Sparrowtail, was killed that Dewfur decided to pitch the idea of driving them out with the aid of Thunderclan. Nettlestar, old and ill, slowly taking the dive into madness, refused to hear or do anything. Only when many warriors and the medicine cat came up with support did he giver her clearance to plan the attack, appointing her to deputy - but did not help himself. The plan worked, but many warriors were injured. Among the worst injured was Firebird, a warrior of Thunderclan, who fought in the front lines alongside Dewfur. They became friends until Firebird died of complications from his injuries.

Her lives came from Sparrowtail (Nettlestar's deputy killed by a fox), Mousefire (Dewfur's grandmother), Tigerlilly (Dewfur's old friend killed by a fox), Maplekit (Dewfur's sister), Adderpelt (an elder), Hailthorn (Dewfur's father), Sorrelnose (her friend's mother), Firebird (a warrior that helped them drive out the foxes), and Nettlestar (her predecessor).

When she was a moon old, she found out the truth, after hearing Dawnwhisker and Briarsight's conversation (making up names lol). She wanted to be a warrior, because since she was so young, she mistaking the meaning of the conversation. Her mentor was Blackeye, a tom who lost an eye. She was a successful warrior, but she finally understood, it wasn't her fault that Featherdance died. She and Quietpaw got their warrior names, Stormberry and Quietstream. However, a couple of moons later, a twoleg let his hunter dogs out, and this what made Stormberry lose her eye. Fearing it would make her worse, the leader made her a Medicine Cat Apprentice. She finally got to see her mother.

Blazeheart showed a love interest in her, and she noticed.

Personality: Rude, sometimes, especially to the toms who look at Quietstream. He is very protective of Quietstream. He is helpful, most of the time, but he doesn't really like Stormberry.

Backstory: He was born as Blazekit to Dawnwhisker and Nightdusk, alongside his sibling, Sharpkit. They always played together, but complained when Dawnwhisker adopted Stormkit and Quietkit. He wanted to be the best warrior in existence, and sometimes Nightdusk helped him improve his skills. His mentor was Rabbitfoot, a tom with tan fur. His training went well (mostly), but wanted to explore on his own. That was a terrible mistake. While Blazepaw and Sharppaw were exploring the Twoleg Path, a Twoleg Monster hit Sharppaw, killing him. Blazepaw carefully dragged Sharppaw's body back to camp. Dawnwhisker was sad, so that night, Blazepaw sat a vigil for him. A couple moons later, Blazepaw got his warrior name, Blazeheart, after he chased a badger out of their territory.

Appearance: Swiftstar is a slim/lean, lithe tom with long limbs, especially his tail. He is on the taller side with short fur and slightly oversized ears and paws.


Personality: A thoughtful and reserved tom, Swiftstar always thinks before he speaks. Though he prefers plans over spontaneous action, Swiftstar is capable of thinking on his paws and producing spur-of-the-moment ideas. Overall, he mostly just prefers order over chaos, and peace over war. He is a sort of strong-willed pacifist. He will always put his Clan above all else, including himself.

Backstory:
Kithood - Swiftkit was born alongside Paintedkit (she) and Wildkit (tom) to Spottedrose (she) and Brackenswirl (tom), a mated pair that no longer got along very well. He didn't know his father well, but grew very close with his mother. Eventually, Brackenswirl left WindClan entirely and was never heard from again. Spottedrose did her best to raise Swiftkit and his littermates without him, giving them all of the love she had. Unfortunately, Paintedkit was quite sickly and died before she could become an apprentice.
Apprenticeship - As an apprentice Swiftpaw was assigned to Quickpaws, a younger tom that matched the enthusiasm of his new apprentice. They worked and played hard, and so most of his apprenticeship past with little event. Wildpaw, who had been assigned to a more serious and stern she-cat by the name of Darklight, lived up to his name and caused plenty of trouble during his youth.
Adulthood - After being given his warrior names of Swiftstride and Wildflare, the two brothers entered the life of a warrior with pride. Eventually, Quickpaws was killed during a border patrol, and Darklight and Spottedrose both retired. Both elders passed, Spottedrose much more recently. Swiftstride and Wildflare were given apprentices around the same time, Briarpaw and Applepaw respectively. Eventually, they became Briarthorn and Applespark. Swiftstride was then appointed Deputy and received a second apprentice during that time, Sharppaw, who then became Sharpfire just as Swiftstar became leader following the relatively uneventful death of the somewhat elderly previous leader. As of now, Swiftstar has been leader for many moons, and has dedicated his whole life to his Clan.

Appearance: Whisperingsong is a bit on the smaller side, with medium-long fur. She has a small scar on her left shoulder.


Personality: Quiet and a bit shy, Whisperingsong is a hard worker but is often overlooked. Tending to fade to the background, Whisperingsong finds herself with few friends even amid her own Clan. Whisperingsong has a particular fondness for kits and elders, and can often be found around either.
