[indWelcome to my journal here, I am Fern. I happen to have no genetic tester, and also enjoy punnet squares. The result? I largely do what is referred to in real life is traditional, or blind, breeding (or pretend to just to play with punnet squares). I breed faelora, because deer are one of my favorite animals, in fact deer tie with birds for my 'spirit' animal, but not just because of this. Faeloras also have a unique plant component, and if you haven't gathered from my name, I love plants, and work with them.
[indSo hop on in and come along for the ride. This post will be your guide, your table of contents so to say. use this to navigate. Feel free to message me, or ping me to discuss Sylestia, genetics, Plants, prospective breeding projects, or anything else that may catch your fancy! You are welcome to post here!
[indif you're in a rush I know most people are going to skip to the project and goals post, that is where I have my couples. No carry offspring are 1k, single carry 1.5k, single showing 2k, two carry 2k, two showing 2.5k.

After quite a long while I've revamped this thread, and embarked upon a new adventure! I'm now trying to breed a Wild Hunt Line of Faelora's, and the first babies are out!
The first daughter doesn't appear to show anything, but she may have that mask hiding in her adult stage!
The Second Daughter is Skeletal! maybe she got the bone mask as well?
The Third Egg is made! Can't wait for it to hatch!
If you remind me I'll draw out a punnet square later with all the potential outcomes of Gwynn and Bean!
Also if you are interested in purchasing some offspring from this pair let me know. I know the first male and female two showings I will be keeping. I am also unsure the best way to run this, selling a mystery egg from the pair, or waiting ans selling the offspring according to shown.

The First Wild Hunt Daughter is now for sale for 5000. She carries skeletal. message me if you're interested but want to negotiate a different price or payment.
The Second Daughter was tested, She shows skeletal and carries bone mask. She will not be going up for sale.
The Third egg hatched, This couple appears to like daughters. She also shows skeletal but has not been tested, so she may or may not carry the mask.
A fourth egg has been bred!
In addition I have begun breeding some of my caught ryori's on the side. I am hoping they turn out nicely, we shall see. I am not sure if I will keep up breeding them but I am looking as some other species for a side project to faelora.

Done a bit more editing on the thread. There are also several new couples I'm excited about! I can't wait for some purple haze offspring!
On another note I have a dedicated two showing pair of offspring to breed from The Wild Hunt.
I also decided on some pricing guidelines. No carry offspring are 1k, single carry 1.5k, single showing 2k, two carry 2k, two showing 2.5k. I felt that these were fair.
In addition to Ryori and Faelora, I am now breeding Lighra and Nephini as well. I am still working on the three non-faeloras to breed visible trait offspring, and to nurture for essences to get themed nice looking pairs. I'll keep working on them, and the offspring I do not want will be for sale at the same rate as my faelora, but I'm not taking orders on any of them now. any un-named in my hatchery will be released if it is not bought. I simply to not have room in my stables for them, and am working up the funds to expand my stables.
Feel free to request an offspring from any of my faelora pairs if you like! I will add you to the waiting list and ping you when your desired type is born.
