Hello, I was just wondering about the genetics/mutations that are in red. Are they completely off limits or is there a way you can aquire them yourself?

Traits that have red text in the generator (also have a * after the trait name) are Restricted traits.
Restricted traits cannot be generated via Essences (though there was a period of a few years where Valentines Lace and Lucky Dust could be, during the limited window of Festival of Love and Fortune Festival respectively.

Restricted traits are obtained by:
> making a Majestic theme via festival pet creation

> using a Restricted Trait Disruptor on the pet (within the parameters of RTD use)

> using a Lovely Mutator or a Lucky Mutator and choosing one of the restricted traits falling under the range of these mutators (valentines lace on all species, lucky dust on all species, angelic traits on puffadores only) (within the parameters of Mutators)

> catching a Spring Blossom pet during a Bloom during Spring Fest (spring blossoms trait only, all species) (only of the species of the flower that people have gotten to bloom at the time)

> catching a pet with a Wild Restricted Trait/ LG Restricted trait in the Lost Grove*
(*at some point it is intended that players will somehow be able to 'extract' an LG res from lg pets with these traits- likely parameters (but not yet determined) are that it must be a tamed pet, it must be a vis res trait, the pet must not have any offspring)

> collecting and combining all the trinkets of a set during a fest or event that will allow you to get an egg of a random species of specific themes, which will be a 2v with one lg res trait (eg. the 9 summer seashells this fest) (it is unknown if something like this will show up in further fests, but seems likely)

> breeding
